As the weather improves, we are seeing a noticeable rise in recreational vessel activity on the harbour. This trend is expected to continue steadily into the summer months.
👀 Stay Alert on the Water All crews are reminded to maintain a vigilant lookout at all times. This includes:
- Using radar effectively
- Slowing down when visibility is limited or traffic is heavy
- Planning transit times to and from PBG with increased caution
🛶 Watch for Small Craft Please be especially mindful of kayaks, paddleboards, and other small vessels. These may be difficult to detect on radar and require extra attention.
