I’ve just completed a safety audit on the guys securing the Atlantic Prince on Jetty 2.

All good with Correct PPE worn, excellent comms between shore party & pilot, staff well aware of bight, lines placed promptly on hook then they cleared area prior to lines being made fast.

So, all good please pass on same to the mooring team / management

The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) advises motorists of expected delays on State Highway 1 (SH1) due to roadworks in the Whangarei District, Northland. Contractors will be rebuilding the southbound left lane between Flyger Road and Prescott Road from Monday, February 10.

The project will involve approximately 4 weeks of daytime work, followed by 2 weeks of nighttime work, with an expected completion date of Friday, March 21.

During this period:

  • Daytime work will maintain traffic flow in both directions, with brief periods of stop/go to allow for equipment movement and site setup/pack-down.
